ALL ABOARD!

It all started with a question: what can a small group of Sophomores like us do to give the incoming Freshies a warm welcome to the School of Humanities community?

With lots of thinking and coffee breaks in between, the idea of a community blog was finally brought up. It’s never been done. It’s up-to-date. It’s accessible. It brings the group and more together. Why not?

Disregard the fact that we had (and still have) little to no HTML coding expertise. We’ll deal with that later (and deal and slightly panic we did!).

As planning went on and ideas swirled, our goal reached a new level. Yes, we still wanted a great Freshmen Welcoming, but now, that wasn’t enough. We wanted to celebrate our being S.O.H. And we wanted everyone else to know it!

S.S. Intrepid was an idea born from the minds of a bunch of summer-restless, coffee-crazed, council-hyped SOHphomores that wanted to finally help bring the Ateneo School of Humanities Identity to the World Wide Web. It’s a huge WELCOME to the Freshies. It’s a great start for the Upperclassmen. Most of all, it’s a complete cyber-canvas for all things S.O.H..
